Fun Casino's and the Law
While fun casinos are perfectly legal and require no special license, there are some restrictions.
The Fun Casino must be run in conjunction with some other form of entertainment, i.e. a function such as a Fete, Dinner, Dance, Sporting Event etc. The casino must not be the sole reason for guests to attend. A fun casino at your Birthday Party is fine, as your guests will be attending primarily to celebrate your birthday. If you let us know your requirements, we will be happy to inform you in more depth as to where you stand legally.
Terms & Conditions...
Payment
When inquiring about your event, the specification and requirements will be agreed with the client and a fixed price quotation will be given. Method of payment will also be agreed. All quotes are valid for 3 months from date of issue.
Should the client wish to make a booking, a non refundable deposit of 10% will be required. The remaining balance will be payable 28 days prior to your planned event, unless otherwise agreed.
Cancellations and Refunds
No deposit will be refunded should the event be cancelled. If you cancel within 28 days of the event, 50% of total fees will be retained/owed; this goes up to 75% if cancellation is within 7 days. Should your event be cancelled prior to this only the deposit is payable. If you need to change your event date this can be done, but fees may be incurred.
Damage and Negligence.
We understand that spills, slight damages and losses can occur wherever crowds and alcohol are mixed, and we accept this.
We do insist however that our staff are treated courteously and our equipment is not maltreated. In the highly unlikely event of wilful damage to our tables / equipment or excessive chip loss, the costs of repair or replacement will be charged to the client's account.
